Director Profiles

The PPP Board members are very experienced in developing resource companies, and between them hold a significant shareholding in PPP.

Neil Tomkinson

LLB Hons, Chairman

Mr Tomkinson has extensive experience over the last 25 years in the administration of and investment in exploration and mining companies in both oil and gas and in hard rock.   Mr Tomkinson’s other public company directorships are Hampton Hill Mining NL (since January 1997) and Traka Resources Limited (since September 2003).  He was appointed to the Board on June 23rd 2006.

R A (Antony) Radford

CA (NZ), Non-Executive Director

Mr Radford was formerly Chairman and CEO of the Company and has been a Director since 1979.  His earlier career included senior financial roles in steel making, tin smelting and mining companies.  He has in excess of 20 years experience in managing petroleum and mining companies. Mr Radford's other public company directorships are New Zealand Oil & Gas Limited (since June 1981) and Pike River Coal Ltd (since January 1992).

Allan W Tattersfield

MCom (Auckland), Non-Executive Director

Mr Tattersfield has over 30 years experience operating retail and construction companies, plus the financing and negotiation of exploration joint venture deals.  He was appointed to the Board on February 22nd 2005.

Michael W Daniel

BComEc, Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Daniel was until recently the Chairman of New Zealand listed Northland Port Corporation (NZ) Ltd and Northport Limited.  Mr Daniel, a former stockbroker and merchant banker, previously held directorships with GSB Supply Corp Ltd, Force Corporation Ltd, Northland Health Limited, Northpower Ltd, SKYCITY Leisure Ltd, Professional Service Brokers Ltd and was Chairman of Elders Norstock Ltd and Sea Tow Limited.  Mr Daniel is presently a Director of Airwork New Zealand Limited and is Chairman of the R Tucker Thompson Youth Sail Training Trust.

Joshua N Pitt

BSc, MAusIMM, MAIG, Non-Executive Director

Mr Pitt is a geologist with extensive exploration experience who has been a director of various exploration and mining companies since 1979.  He has had a successful career in seed capitalisation and management of listed exploration and mining companies including Aztec Exploration Limited, Golden Grove Mining NL, Forrestania Gold NL , Dalrymple Resources NL and LionOre International Ltd.  Mr Pitt is currently a non-executive director of Hampton Hill Mining NL, Traka Resources Limited, Red Hill Iron Limited and Red Metal Limited.  Mr Pitt is also involved in substantial private resource investment in Australia.
